Morgan Park Raceway
Pitstop Lodge at Warwick is regarded by the visiting motor racing community as a favourite for accommodation. The old Queenslander can accommodate up to 12 guests at a time in self contained rooms, with the option of a cooked breakfast at a small extra cost.
Ten minutes out of town, motor racing enthusiasts who visit Warwick can be found at Morgan Park Raceway.
The Warwick District Sporting Car Club started up 45 years ago, and it holds fairly regular practice sessions of a Wednesday for drivers with a competitor’s license who want to use the track.
The Morgan Park Raceway website has all the details and the 2010 calendar of events for those (with the right credentials) who want to put their pride and joy through one of these sessions.
