Kyneton Kyneton Station is an 11,000 acre property located outside of Barcaldine in Western Queensland. Owner Jocelyn Chandler has spent nearly three decades creating a green backyard around the property’s homestead, an impressive feat in the outback. In addition to a plush covering of grass, the garden features a dam, a tennis court and a rose garden.
Visit Kyneton Station with Traveltrain Holidays as part of the Gardens of Western Queensland tour. The 12-day trip is hosted by well known green thumb Colin Campbell and takes in the sights of Mitchell, Blackall, Longreach, Barcaldine and Rockhampton.
Packages start at $4,457 for QLD Pensioner Card holders and include accommodation, meals and train travel between Brisbane and the outback.
